Review
Pinch of Nom isn’t a phenomenon. A phenomenon has a beginning and an end, but this thing – at first a Facebook group, then a food website, now a record-breaking cookbook – is as vast, as unstoppable, as the universe expanding. (Ruby Tandoh, The Guardian)
Pinch of Nom is headed up by pro foodies…recipes are accessible for all in terms of budget and availability. (Anna Hunter, Get the Gloss)

I have received my book and I love it! For all those who are stating they are disappointed as there’s no Syn value or WW points value, it’s because it’s Pinch of Nom and not SW or WW. I’m pretty sure there would be a copyright issue if they included these values. I follow the SW plan and it’s easy enough to work out the Syns.

This book arrived instantly! I’m so happy with it. As a graphic designer myself it was so enjoyable to see such beautiful design and photography – and I’m so hungry just from flicking through! I saw the negative reviews – at first I was a little disheartened (for about a second) when I didn’t see the SYN values added -HOWEVER!… Realised almost immediately that it’s probably as SW swap and change syn values all the time, in print it’s not as easy as digital to amend, and in a way it’s doing more of a dis-service to customers if you give information which is out of date and inaccurate. You can work out the syn value yourself using the ingredients listed. The people who have sent their books back immediately because of this alone are miserable and lazy. It’s a really gorgeous designed portfolio of slim friendly meals. Kate and Kay should be really proud. It has definitely been worth the wait! Thank you!

Good quality book that builds on the success of the Pinch of Nom web site. Whilst it does not provide syn values or point values if you attend a specific slimming group it does list ingredients – so it is easy to work out what your syn/point value will be if you eat the food once made according to the listed instructions. Easy to navigate the book, quality pictures and instructions!! One to have handy to maintain a healthy lifestyle!! Great ideas, easy to make food and family friendly!

OMG. This recipe book is simply amazing
I have used many of the recipes from the pinch of nom website and cannot wait to get started on these
There’s loads of brand new recipes in this book and every one of them looks amazing
I’ve seen lots of comments regarding the fact that there are no syn values. This is a good thing as the book will always be relevant to whatever diet plan you’re following.
So excited to be able to have healthy and slimming home cooked food
Well done to Kate and Kay for providing such an amazing book with recipes that the whole family can enjoy

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The go to recipe Books For-Everyone

I absolutely love this book. Recipes that dont see you hunting around shops for weird ingredients, easy to follow recipes, beautifully illustrated. Fantastic job ladies. To all the people who are saying you can get these free online, of course you can but fully loaded with ads, I personally find it easier and nicer to have a real recipe book. Yes it doesnt contain syn values but that’s because syn and weight watcher points change all the time making this book out of date. Without syn values you can work out current points and syns according to current information.
The website tells you itself it’s not a diet plan it’s a recipe book. 🙂 perfectly done.

The wait was well worth it. The book not only looks amazing but the recipes are so easy to follow & there are recipes that are suitable for all tastes. I’ve been using the website for over 2 years now & so looking forward to trying out all the new dishes.
If you’re thinking of buying this I’d highly recommend & if you haven’t already bought it, you don’t know what your missing! For all those saying they’ve been “misled”….. it was clearly stated in the article on the blog that Syn values/WW points were not included & the reasons why so a bit confused as to how that is misleading? Off to the kitchen now where I’ll be for the foreseeable future.
